Dr. Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch stands as a pioneering figure in Latino leadership. She transformed her humble beginnings in a Laredo, Texas barrio into a legacy of groundbreaking achievement and service. Rising through poverty and discrimination, she became the highest-ranking Hispanic woman in the U.S. Army's Combat Support Field during her distinguished 20-year military career.

At the pinnacle of her military success and poised for a general officer position, Dr. Kickbusch made the remarkable decision to retire as Lieutenant Colonel in 1996 to fulfill her mother's wish, returning to her roots to empower her community. She founded Educational Achievement Services, Inc., a human development company that has since impacted over one million students, parents, and leaders nationwide.

A sought-after advisor to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, including NASA, IBM, the NFL, Wal-Mart, and the U.S. Department of Education, Dr. Kickbusch has redefined Latino leadership on the national stage. Her resilience and cultural pride story has been featured in prominent media outlets, including Hispanic Business magazine's "100 Most Influential Hispanics in America," O Magazine, CNN's Latino in America, and Univision.

Through her speaking and community work, Dr. Kickbusch continues to build a powerful legacy of Latino leadership. She demonstrates how cultural values and identity can fuel transformative leadership that breaks barriers and creates opportunities for future generations. She resides in Las Vegas with her husband, David, and is the proud mother of five daughters and grandmother of four.
